Today’s scent enrichment was orange 🍊 — and the puppies absolutely loved it! Tiny noses were working overtime as they explored the new smell with so much curiosity and confidence. Scent introduction at this age is such an important part of early neurological development, and watching them investigate something new is always a highlight.
We also did our daily weights today and WOW… every single puppy has nearly doubled their birth weight already. That’s exactly what you want to see in a thriving litter — strong feeding, steady growth, and healthy little bodies developing fast.
It honestly feels impossible that they are already 7 days old. One whole week has flown by in a blur of milk-drunk naps, little squeaks, and round puppy bellies. Eyes will start opening before we know it, and their personalities are already beginning to shine through.
These babies are growing fast and keeping us very busy — but we wouldn’t have it any other way 💛
Shiloh is such an amazing mum. She absolutely adores her babies and is very loving & attentive.
